Kitty is an illustrator and printmaker whose character-driven work is both mischievous and intriguing. Working from her Essex studio, Kitty makes paintings or low-tech screen prints and zines that reference her joyful recollection of childhood books, comics and films. Projects have been inspired by alien romance novels; the long running television crime dramas ‘Murder She Wrote’ and ‘Columbo’ and a scandalous piece of Victorian local history. Most of all Kitty loves to draw in her sketchbook, and is especially happy if the drawings make her laugh the next day.
